57th Grammy Awards: music and style

The Grammy Awards night is one of that nights of the year… You just want to keep awake to see the best music performances and to see all that crazy outfits.

Last night was the 57th Grammy Awards. The show had a great AC/DC opening and it was a good night for Sam Smith, that took home the Grammy for “Best New Artist”; for Beyoncé and Jay-Z with Drunk in love winning the “Best R&B Performance” and the “Best R&B Song”; for Eminem, that won the “Best Rap Album”; for Kendrick Lamar who racked up two for “Best Rap Performance” and “Best Rap Song” and much much more. Neela Vaswani, who narrated Malala Yousafzai’s audiobook for I Am Malala: How One Girl Stood Up for Education and Changed the World, took home the award for “Best Children’s Album” and, of course, Frozen‘s “Let It Go” won Best Song Written for Visual Media.

Now let’s talk about haute couture? At the red carpet were numerous music icons with amazing dresses by Valentino, Jean Paul Gautier, Elie Saab, Versace and other amazing designers. There are always those people with bad taste, but in general, it was a good red carpet and an amazing music show.
