As you already know, 2017’s color was chosen by Pantone in early December last year. And we absolutely love Greenery because it’s both a unique shade, as well as a soothing tone, that brings us back to sunny and happy days.

Nothing over the top, keeping it simple and let the details work. That was the approach used in this living room decor. We personally feel like the little greenery details contrast beautifully with the pastel blue shades, giving the room a splash of life.

If you prefer to go for something more intense, use this living room design as an example of how a bold green wallpaper can go a long way when it comes to transforming this room into a statement space, where you can just give it all.

Dark, yet luminous, this lounge space perks up with the addition of that stunning green sofa. All the elements around it help build the right ambiance, as well as the aged mustard coffee table, which is just amazing.

Another way to add Pantone’s shade to your room decor is by playing with other colors and light. Here we can see how the light play behind the bookshelf creates a shade very close to this year’s color, matching the elements in front of the bookshelf.

Not quite what you’d call the perfect example of greenery, these beautiful dining chairs still carry with them the lightness and joy that Pantone’s color of the year exudes.

Another great use of this shade is by juxtapositioning it with neutrals and outside elements. In the example above we see that matching greenery with wood details as well as neutral tones such as black and white creates an inviting atmosphere.

Another gorgeous and very luxurious design that, while not being a complete reproduction of Pantone’s color of the year, it still exudes the same feelings. We can very clearly see and feel the easiness reproduced in this contemporary bedroom in downtown New York.

Lastly, and probably a very confusing one… We selected this living room decor because, although at first glance it may not feature any green shade in it, if you look closely, you can see how it fills the whole room. Yes, that’s right, we’re talking about the ultimate greenery… nature! The green of the bright grass outside steps inside and completely takes over the room’s color scheme. How magical is it…?
