Contemporary fabric innovation meets retro sophistication in the Zenith, Iridos & Musa collections by Black Edition that will be launched at Decorex this September 2015. The new collections will be showcased at the following shows and will be available internationally through selected interior designers and retailers.
Zenith
Zenith is an opulent collection of thirteen upholstery weaves given the distinctive Black Edition edge using innovative modern weaving techniques to enhance each design.
The collection comprises an amalgamation of original designs including Zenith, a jacquard woven velvet with an eye-catching, digitally printed chevron design that sits playfully misaligned with the weave.
Limbali is a contemporary velvet and chenille weave displaying a novel contrast of texture and colour.
Orosi features richly coloured velvet hexagons woven on a distinctive metallic-effect ground. Several textural weaves complete the collection, each with their own subtle eccentricities including Abiko, a textured chenille punctuated by a metallic-effect ribbon that adds a glamorous touch to a practical upholstery weave, whilst the mosaic-like structure of Quanta creates a textural design with a contemporary pixelated effect.
A palette of rich jewel like tones in mallard green, deep purple and teal blue complement warm neutrals and metallic tonal shades.

Iridos
Iridos features ten lightweight, sheer and semi-sheer weaves inspired by an assortment of natural components including oxidised metals and earthy mineral tones and textures.
Iridos, an Agate inspired design sees a fusion of matt and metallic effect yarns whilst Lucia , a modern lightweight weave with an antiqued appeal, uses a combination of linen and viscose yarns to create a three dimensional geometric design with a glamorous sheen.
Elias uses a yarn shrinkage process to create the crackled textured finish of this lustrous jacquard weave whilst an intricate embroidery design gives Zardosi the appearance of abstract animalia adding a contemporary edge to this lustrous semi-sheer.
Musa
Musa, a luxurious plain viscose velvet is presented in an assortment of irresistible shades, from pastel pinks to rich greens and blues and new tonal shades of rust and copper.
A wonderfully deep pile with an irresistibly soft touch evokes opulence whilst a Teflon coating adds a practical, stain-repellent finish to this extremely sumptuous fabric.
