Looking for a getaway? This wood cabin was just designed to you.
Conceived as a car lover’s dream retreat, you will be lost for words with such a spacious garage, which generate space for car storage and maintenance. Not to mention the appealing and unexpected wine cellar, as well as a furniture workshop.
The charred cedar was the main material selected to the exterior, which was burned using Shou Sugi Ban, an ancient Japanese exterior siding technique which preserves wood by charring it with fire.
Being a two-storey black home, are you curious to figure out what’s on the second floor?
Once again, we presented you an inspiring open-space, which was built so that was making the most sunlight. Those glazed windows give an ethereal feel to this room, don’t you agree?
Imagine yourself on a cold day enjoying the warmth of this incredible fireplace and dazzling the view of the forest outside! Just the perfect setting!
And that’s when we get to the rear of the cabin, where a large wooden plane shelters an exterior deck.
Through this angle, we visualise an open-plan dining area which is complemented with a spacious and modern kitchen.
The Studio MM Architect decided to add a “handcrafted concept” which is totally visible throughout this modern dwelling, in particular in the dining room table, built by the craftsman Elijah Leed.
We cannot be indifferent to this marble island, which was designed to separate the kitchen from the dining area and to this brass chandelier suspended over the table.
Characterized by the rhythmic composition of its elements, reduced shapes, clean lines and lots of black, Ike Suspension fixture truly embodies what a DelightFULL piece is -an elegant look full of refinement and modernity.
