Maison&Objet Asia 2015 is now over. This is the event that brought together the arst of living and gathered the players of the furniture and design sector. The new trends have been made at Maison&Objet Asia, unveiling new talents, offering new sources of inspiration, promoting creativity and providing a springboard for brand enhancement.

But the best of all – it all happened under the same roof at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

A highlight of this year’s Maison&Objet Asia, Tokyo Tribal is a furniture collection featuring twenty-five items, including stools, chairs, tables and shelves. Designed exclusively by Nendo for Industry+

Gan Rugs has expanded into accessories with the Detroit collection by Mapi Millet. The collection includes foot stools and pillows made from strips of wool felt that intertwine like woven baskets.

Australian bathware designer and manufacturer Apaiser have teamed up with designer Kelly Hoppen to bring three new collections – Harmony, Bande and Origami.

Covet Lounge is a project where 5 founding European design brands, Boca do LoboDelightFULLBRABBUKOKET and Maison Valentina, have formed a group of designers & specialists aiming to fulfill the void in the design industry. This project consists of a place where designers, architects, press, bloggers and field experts come together for a design celebration. They will take you on a journey where innovation meets comfort and luxury.

Available in four sizes, Neon is a range of new side tables designed by Sebastian Herkner for Haymann Editions.

The year 2015 also marks an important milestone for Maison&Objet as it celebrated its 20th anniversary in Paris, last January and will launch the first Maison&Objet Americas in Miami Beach, from 12 to 15 of May.

Tha annual event for home decor and design takes place at the prestigious setting of the Marina Bay Sands, in Singapore. Maison&Objet Asia tradeshow provides a unique visibiliy to the companies that wish to have access to the exclusive area of new luxury. Maison&Objet Asia brings to Singapore the creativity and sophisticated atmosphere that is already a symbol of the orignal Parisian model.

And this year, the designers who made a distintive mark in the world of design, and chosen as Maison&Objet Asia’s Designer of the Year are Lyndon Neri & Rossana Hu from Shanghai, China.

Neri & Hu Design and Research Office was founded in 2004 by Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu.

Their projects include the London Bow Street Hotel, Caylabene Bay Resort in the Philippines, the Waterhouse Boutique Hotel in South Bund in Shanghai, interiors for restaurants, retail spaces and private homes, as well as product designs of tableware, furniture and décor objects.
