Scandinavian interiors are typically white to help keep spaces bright. The use of color is generally kept to furniture to keep the space from feeling completely uniform.
The Scandinavian style also uses a lot of wood. This helps the room for falling into dullness and to add a feeling of oneness with nature and serenity. In Scandinavian design usually, light woods are used.
Function over ornamentation is the key. To make homes feels as cozy and elegant every object in the room reflects as much ambient light as possible.
Lovers of the outdoor, the Scandinavian style believes in celebrating nature. Potted plants are also commonly used in interior décor to mimic nature within the home.
A style that masterfully combines beauty with practicality. Even though the space is quite big the Scandinavian style chooses instead to bring practicality and a sense of organization to space.

INT2architecture have designed an interior concept for a penthouse with an attic, for a family with two young children in Zelenograd, Russia. Find this scandinavian design and fall madly in love…
The space is designed in minimalist Scandinavian eco aesthetics with industrial elements. The pendant lamps are absolutely gorgeous in the kitchen.
The ground floor of this three story penthouse includes an entrance hall, spacious living room, dining area, kitchen, guest bathroom and laundry area under the stairs.
The second floor houses three bedrooms (nursery, master and guest bedrooms) and a shared bathroom.
The attic houses recreation room, small home office, bar, media library, wardrobe for seasonal clothes and a shower.
“The main objective of this project is our desire to save the height of the space around the house and to expose architectural craftsmanship – structural elements of the building – such as brickwork, wooden ceiling beams and roof purlins.”, said the designer.
This living space has an industrial style that you can see in the entire room.
