After Pantone has named Greenery its 2017 colour of the year, we were immediately attracted by the refreshing feeling of this revitalizing shade, symbolic of new beginnings.

As you already know, 2017’s color was chosen by Pantone in early December last year. And we absolutely love Greenery because it’s both a unique shade, as well as a soothing tone, that brings us back to sunny and happy days.
Feeling already very nostalgic of the endless Summer days and longing for Spring to come, we made a little selection to remind you why you should be using this great color in your home decor!

Nothing over the top, keeping it simple and let the details work. That was the approach used in this living room decor. We personally feel like the little greenery details contrast beautifully with the pastel blue shades, giving the room a splash of life.

If you prefer to go for something more intense, use this living room design as an example of how a bold green wallpaper can go a long way when it comes to transforming this room into a statement space, where you can just give it all.

Dark, yet luminous, this lounge space perks up with the addition of that stunning green sofa. All the elements around it help build the right ambiance, as well as the aged mustard coffee table, which is just amazing.

Another way to add Pantone’s shade to your room decor is by playing with other colors and light. Here we can see how the light play behind the bookshelf creates a shade very close to this year’s color, matching the elements in front of the bookshelf.

Not quite what you’d call the perfect example of greenery, these beautiful dining chairs still carry with them the lightness and joy that Pantone’s color of the year exudes.

Another great use of this shade is by juxtapositioning it with neutrals and outside elements. In the example above we see that matching greenery with wood details as well as neutral tones such as black and white creates an inviting atmosphere.

Another gorgeous and very luxurious design that, while not being a complete reproduction of Pantone’s color of the year, it still exudes the same feelings. We can very clearly see and feel the easiness reproduced in this contemporary bedroom in downtown New York.

Lastly, and probably a very confusing one… We selected this living room decor because, although at first glance it may not feature any green shade in it, if you look closely, you can see how it fills the whole room. Yes, that’s right, we’re talking about the ultimate greenery… nature! The green of the bright grass outside steps inside and completely takes over the room’s color scheme. How magical is it…?
Spring is coming so we decided to select some home design ideas with floral trends to your home interior.
We found an article in Elle decor that we believe we would like to see:
When setting the table, every element counts: the textiles, the china, the flatware and, most importantly, lots and lots of beautiful flowers.
Brooklyn-based floral designers Kathleen Hyppolite of Kat Flower and Emily Howard Kudva of Phileanor know a thing or two about setting the perfect tablescape. The pair just launched, The Flower Salon, a collaborative workshop series for floral enthusiasts (and those, like us, who simply can’t wait until spring).
The designers met with ELLEDECOR.com at You & Yours Fine Vintage in Greenpoint, Brooklyn to share four of their creations, as well as some new and exciting floral trends to keep an eye out for in 2016.
Centering around Rose Quartz, one of Pantone’s top colors for 2016, Kat Flower features a beautiful centerpiece with French anemoes, garden roses and sculptural greenery made up of rainbow eucalyptus.

During our daily research for the best novelties and trends, we found a very interesting article about pantone colors. This post must be your partner in all the interiors you are developing for the fall season that’s approaching and it definitely was excellent for us here at Home Design Ideas Blog, once it was a big inspiration for today’s article.
So, Fall is not a sign of darkness. You need to keep strong colors in your interior designs and home design ideas. Not the same colors that you are using this summer, obviously, but equally interesting ones.
Let’s see which are the options? We decided to bring you the inspirational article we found today. Let’s see it:
Today’s inspiration will bring a pop of color to your day and your home design ideas. We believe that the best inspiration we can give you now is pantone’s color chart. This way you’ll be able to be aware of the colors to use in your interior design projects this fall.
“Designers pay homage to progressive moments in American history — from the seductive ’20s to the bohemian hippies and modernists of the ’60s and ’70s,” Pantone says. “The colors are evocative of a love for nature and a timeless appreciation for warmth and security.”
We say, it feels like one big garden party. And if that means prolonging these outdoor summer vibes, we can get with that. Brabbu always follows the tendences. We will show you a selection of products using some of the colors that are on the top of Pantone’s list.
Those are our suggestions on sofas and armchairs to your home design ideas, by Brabbu. This fall can’t be different: get a trendy interior using the right colors. Pantone’s color chart will help you with this.
