This is the show that offers you the most important trends of the next year, detecting and analyzing new attitudes and approaches in the interior design world.
And if you haven’t attended yet, then here’s a list of reasons why you should…
Tom Dixon is at Maison et Objet, in hall 7, with some of his most iconic designs, as well as his new bathroom and spa exclusive collection of hand balms and washes.
Like many other luxurious interior design brands, Fendi Casa is located in Hall 8. Although the entrance to the stand is done by invitation-only, you can see from outside how it irradiates luxury and an exquisite taste.
“Zaha Hadid Design creates a wide variety of pieces for living and for the home, from architecturally inspired homeware, and sculptural jewelry, to limited edition furniture, and innovative installations and interiors.” If you roam around Hall 7, this is exactly what you’ll have waiting for you at their stunning stand.
Meridiani makes sure to interpret tradition with a more contemporary vibe. Simple pure lines suggest a new luxury, sophisticated, yet natural and relaxed. Their stand in Hall 8 was simply glowing, attracting most of the people who passed by.
DelightFULL is at Maison & Objet showcasing all their five new pieces, as well as some other incredible lighting designs. Make sure to visit them at Hall 7, stands E-45 and F-46!
Circu is an incredible luxury interior design brand with amazing solutions for your kids’ bedrooms! Amongst all their creations is this beautiful and unique bed!
“Sempre is not just your regular wholesale company or your everyday production house”. And this philosophy the brand stands by is reflected in their completely eclectic and amazing stand in Hall 5B.
Maison et Objet’s chosen designer of the year will be showcasing his creations in hall 7 for the whole five days.
Plastic artist, scenographer and interior designer Pierre Charpin was at M&O for the whole 1st day, with all the attention drawn to the designer during an exciting conference dedicated to praise his incredible work.
During the conference “Pierre Charpin, a Design Open to Experiences”, the designer explained the importance of the sketching phase before the conception of the actual pieces. While sketching, Charpin makes sure to draw every idea, in order to “put aside all the ideas that don’t fit in”. The materials that are going to be used in his pieces are also chosen during the sketching process, as it helps the artist conceptualize and see his ideas more clearly. As Pierre Charpin said, “it is the starting point of the project”. Through his original and happy drawings he is able to soften the coldness of raw materials like marble.
Finally, when questioned about the process of working in partnerships and with clients, Charpin made it simple: “Design doesn’t exist if you work alone, it only happens through dialogue. Dialogue is everything.”
