Indoor plants are definitely a trend that has come to stay. Greenery itself is a proof that the color green can liven things up and create a fresh and cozy atmosphere in our homes. For that reason, today we’re giving you 6 home design ideas on how to use indoor vines.
One of the reasons we chose to talk about vines is because of how low maintenance they are. So even if plants are not exactly your forte, you can still give them a go.
A very creative and unique way of adding vines to your living room decor is by setting up these modular hangings, which let the plant grow free, creating stunning patterns that will certainly look amazing next to the geometric shapes.
Whether it’s in your home office or your dining room, when choosing the right desk or dining table, remember that these tables that encourage vines to grow tall without taking up too much space exist! And we love them!

This particular decor idea works great if you live in a scandinavian paradise. Mix geometric patterned shelves, with neutral colors and a pop of greenery, and you’ve got yourself a beautiful decor element. The great thing about it is that it adds life and color to your space but keeps the look simple and delicate at the same time.

Modern Furniture With Retro Inspiration – the 60’s and the 70’s are Back
Fantastic furniture pieces designed in the 60s but stopped from production were displayed at Milan’s exhibition as well and stood out as long lost pieces of art finally found their place amongst the public. The development of the modern production technology made it possible for those designs to see the light of day again.
Another example of how the modern technologies made it possible for the beautiful curves of the past to find their way into the contemporary design brands is this solid wood chair – the Clad Easy Collection of Sollos designed by Jader Almeida. Suitable for home, office, inside and out – this masculine sculpture possesses an unexpected elegance and grace.

Minimalistic Bathrooms for Urban Dwellings
When it comes to the size and the shape of the bathroom design composition, the trend is going in the direction of smaller and more private spaces. After the temporary pick of large and massive bathtubs, we observe the more intimate and minimalist directions when it comes to bathroom combinations. The shape and the size of toilets zincs and bathtubs are considerably reduced, not only to fit better in the smaller urban apartments but also to introduce a sense of restrained elegance and intimacy. IKEA had just released its new collection and a bunch of home design ideas: PS Collection – a futuristic collection based on experimentation with materials, sustainability, and food. Yes, food. Home Design Ideas will show you more about this experimental collection (we can’t wait for spring 2017!).
This new collection started in 2012, involving remixed designs from IKEA’s past, and in 2014, it showcased design world stars names like Matali Crasset and Rich Brilliant Willing, but 2017 PS Collection is a very interesting design collection due to the fact that isn’t inspired in the present neither in the past, but what the future will bring to the design world.
The “experimentation” is the theme of all of the 60 products present in the collection, that is made with sustainable new materials and techniques. Several products are made with recycled resources and others with innovative techniques.
And food wasn’t forgotten on the 2017 PS Collection. IKEA also released what they call “comfortable food items”, that will include spice mixes, healthy drinks and grains, that will help the average John Doe to easily create a Scandinavian dish.
The collection will be launch in February 2017, in US.
