Neil Patrick Harris opened the 2015 Oscars with a song and a dance number. Anna Kendrick and Jack Black they give him a hand, singing at the 2015 Oscars opening.
Harris even ventured into some of film’s finest moments, including “Ghost” and “The Avengers”. Just before “Into the Woods”, star Anna Kendrick popped out of the screen to duet with the host about the magic of the movies, but Jack Black decided to step up and point out that the film biz just ain’t what it used to be.
But Harris and Kendrick put Jack back in his place, adding that moving pictures “may not be real life, but they’ll show you what life really means.”

The song “Moving Pictures”, created by Frozen songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, was a loving tribute to cinema’s history and a big success.
