The design studio Freehaus was approached to overhaul a Victorian terraced house in north London for a couple of designers and their family.

The theme behind this extensive refurbishment was a bold contemporary design, in which natural light brightens these previously dark spaces.
The focal point of this kitchen is certainly this grey marble- clad island. Being the predominant work surface material, the meticulous use of the marble stands out in the middle of the brightness that fills this space.

Starting in a garden full of greenery shades, you enter in a fresh, vibrant and welcoming kitchen with a two-tone color scheme: white and a light turquoise.
Although in the same space, there is a muted division between the dining area and the confection area. The distribution of these pendant lamps checked above proves that!
Not only the island but also the walls and the light fixtures are covered in marble. How creative is that?
Loving also the contrast between the predominant whiteness and the accents of brass! They definitely line the whole space!
