Inspired by the architectural designs of Mexico during the 50’s. the paraboloid structures and arches defined the country for the decade.
To get this incorporated into the contemporary furniture design, a pergola was incorporated that’s composed of two interconnected arches, which helps to designate the outer space from the interior space without sacrificing visibility.
A perfect fit for a contemporary outdoor decor, this armchair will fit like a glove next to that big tree while reading your favourite book.
As Christian Vivanco claims, “Felix is inspired by architectural languages used in Mexico during the 50’s, where paraboloid structures and the arches defined the country’s identity in a strong and modern way. This link to the past brings to Felix a classic but contemporary identity, in which the forms respond to factors that are not only ornamental but functional in practical and symbolic terms.”
