George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg founded the studio in 1980 with a special focus on interior design and since the company grew into a multidisciplinary project.

The design studio and its founders earned several honors, including being appointed Officers of the Order of Canada, included in the Interior Design Hall of Fame and named among the world’s most influential design studios by Wallpaper*, Elle Décor, Hospitality Design, and the Business of Fashion. Their clients include well-known hotel and resort brands, developers, retailers, restaurateurs, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and creative individuals looking to stand out from the crowd. Attention to detail is key to every single one of their projects, from tabletop objects to expansive new developments, and they always try to find partners who share their dedication and passion for doing better than what has been done before. They want to design the world they wish to live in.
