The metallic copper as you’ve never seen it before!
The skincare brand Aesop engaged the New York studio Tacklebox in decorating its whiskey warehouse close to San Francisco’s waterfront.

The design of this project was all about “fault lines and natural rifts within the area’s geological timeframe”, said Jeremy Barbour, who led the studio.
In order to create unique store interiors, Aesop is used to collaborating with different designers worldwide. Obviously that this store reveals the exacting work of the studio Tacklebox.
In reference to the stills used to produce whiskey previously, copper was its election material!
These white walls hold several shelves, which appear like metallic fissures in the surfaces.
Here you find the perfect combo between the pale walls and the wooden floorboards! These large windows increase this delicately refined aesthetic!
“This space is situated in one of a handful of structures that survived the 1906 earthquake and fire,” said the New York Studio, “owing to the quick-thinking firemen and hundreds of citizens determined to protect the stores of Hotaling’s Whiskey – an endeavour that fortuitously preserved the architecture of neighbouring blocks.”
Take a closer look at these washbasins, which feature always the Aesop stores so that the clients can test the different range of skin products.

“Bracing, stitching, and splicing the surface of the wall terrain, forty-one solid copper shelves bridge the in-between,” said the studio.
