Euroluce 2015 first days: what’s happening

Let’s know what’s happening at Euroluce 2015. The Salone del Mobile in Milano is the ultimate test for the most advanced design trends. Euroluce is the biggest lighting fair ever and you can see everything there from the best floor lamps to the most wonderful chandeliers that you ever seen.

LZF LAMPS

Spanish company specializing in wood veneer lighting LZF Lamps presents its new Life-Size Collection at Euroluce 2015 in Milan this week. This collection of sculptural pieces is born out of the desire of LZF Lamps’ founders, Mariví Calvo and Sandro Tothill, to collaborate and innovate via daring projects with artists and craftsmen of different disciplines.

LASVIT

Inspired by the industrial lighting and street lamps in European cities, Hats is the new light collection designed by London-based studio deFORM for Lasvit. Reminiscent of the late Victorina bowler, Hats combines the demand for absolute practicality with simplicity of design. It’s transparent coloured glass topper lights the ceiling, while the clear bottom is starkly utilitarian.

DELIGHTFULL

DelightFULL’s world is about ambiance, history and moments that stay forever through lighting designs. At the first day of Euroluce 2015 DelightFULL has released a new lifestyle collection – Essentials Collection.

VG NEW TREND

VG New Trend presents at Euroluce 2015 ‘Andy’ chandelier and ‘Earth’ lamp. With ‘Andy’ Chandelier, VG is inspired by the mysteries of the underworld, such as the stalactites in century-old caves, the dramatic expression of the long-standing passage of water on rocks.

TOM DIXON

Once again, Milan Design Agenda has the privilege to witness the launch of Tom Dixon’s 2015 collection label as “The Cinema”, a unique entertainment show in an abandoned theatre in the heart of the city. The collection is inspired by a never-ending research into shape, texture and finishes, an obsession with manufacturing techniques and a deep vein of narratives that come from a uniquely eccentric British standpoint.
