The demand for a contemporary house extension is not an easy task, however the pursuit of innovation in residential design has underpinned the work since the practice was founded.
In order to create a bright, open-planned kitchen, dining area and lounge at ground level, it was necessary to add the 15-square-metre addition to the rear of Tibur House.
The London-based practice had to remove a side wall at the rear of the property to form the extension.

Being one of the design goals the improvement of natural lighting, the architects also partially removed the wall between the front and rear lounge rooms. Actually, a sliding partition is the key to achieving more privacy between the different spaces.
