HOW TO PLAN THE PERFECT VALENTINE'S DAY PARTY FOR YOUR FRIENDS

Valentine’s Day is three days away, so whether you’re flying high above the mountains of Lovetown, or you’re spending this day loving yourself and your friends, a home party is always a good idea! And today we’re telling you how to throw the most adorable Galentine’s Day party for you and your girlfriends!

CEO and founder of Twenty Three Layers explained that “the whole purpose of Galentine’s is to spend time bonding with friends. It’s about telling stories, talking crushes, playing games, eating and drinking. It’s about good ol‘ fashioned girl time.”

To extend the outdoor party space, Boskoff layered two rugs on top of each other. The smaller rug lent the textured coziness bohemian style, and the larger flat rug gave guests more space to stretch out and relax.

For the tablescape, Boskoff created a sweet display that was feminine without being cliché by blending blush tones with brass and neutrals. The champagne flutes are by Anthropologie, the pink dessert plates are by Suite One Studio @ Anthropologie and the candlesticks are by CB2.

“I like serving foods that don’t require a fork and knife — easy things guests can pick at and pass around,” says Boskoff. “And instead of just having wine, I decided on a pink lemonade punch. I wanted to keep within the color theme!“
