BOXES ARE OUR FRIENDS
Probably the most obvious and simple way to add some space to your small home is by grabbing a few boxes (make them pretty) and use them both as decor pieces and storage room!
USE LITERALLY EVERY INCH OF YOUR HOME
If your sofa or your bed have some storage space underneath it, use it! If they don’t have a special spot allocated for that purpose, you can still use the space between the furniture and the floor to store a few items you don’t use so often.
DRAWERS ARE A MUST HAVE
Make sure to use your drawers smartly. Don’t over clutter them with things you don’t need. Be selective and use all your drawers for important things. When shopping, choose a nightstand that has at least two drawers!
IMPROVISE USING NEW FURNITURE
The white balcony you can see in the photo above wasn’t always there. However, when added to the kitchenette it created more room to store all your cooking products. Furthermore, it also created a nice division between the kitchen area and the living room!

Put up shelves pretty much anywhere you can! We especially love this idea of using the ‘unusable’ space above your wash basin or your bathtub. The extra space is great and you can even put up a few decor items to make it look awesome.
