If you pack your bags and fly directly to Paris, you’ll find Koti, a Parisian Hotel.
However, what if I told you that this new hotel experience promises a sleepover in Finland that wakes up in Paris? Isn’t that possible?
Designed by the Helsinki-based interior architect Linda Bergroth, Koti hotel welcomes its visitors, providing a Finnish experience that they’ll keep for life.
Upon entering there, its guests will immediately forget that they’re in Paris because of these incredible wooden cabins.
At the Koti hotel, a “common, shared home”, there is such an interesting principle: sleeping in wooden cabins and sharing meals around a communal table.
Comprising six storehouses, guests have the option to stay in one of them, receiving an undeniable Nordic—if not outright Scandinavian—treatment.
As soon as the guests arrive, they will receive slippers and robes by Lapuan Kankurit, an entirely unusual routine for the Parisians.
“It is a bit crazy and experimental experience that requires the guest to engage in something completely new.”
Linda Bergroth
After a night immersed in a Finnish experience, all visitors eat a typically Finnish breakfast together around a table designed by architects Mattila & Merz.
Such a well-thought experience! In the morning, they will be awoken by Innolux Lamps, which have the particularity of simulating natural daylight.
Although Koti is inspired by a Finnish concept, its designer, Linda Bergroth, made the right decision not to make the space overloaded with the well-known Finnish designs.
On the other side, she intended to enhance the Finnish ways of sharing, evoking a feeling of warmth and a certain amount of joy.
