How to include furniture trends in your house decor

We are at the begining of the year, it’s time to take out our crystal ball and predict the which is the best way to include furniture trens in your house. These are our predictions:

1. Colour of the Year 2015

It’s January, which means Pantone had already chosen a colour for this new year. For 2015, they’ve picked ‘Marsala’.

Marsala is a dark red colour with a splash of brown. It’s a very warm colour which brings instant coziness to an interior. As people of Pantone said:

“Sensual and bold, delicious Marsala is a daringly inviting tone that nurtures; exuding confidence and stability while feeding the body, mind and soul. Much like the fortified wine that gives Marsala its name, this robust shade incorporates the warmth and richness of a tastefully fulfilling meal, while its grounding red-brown roots point to a sophisticated, natural earthiness.”

2. Geometrical shapes

What’s the connection between this trend and interior design? Well, 3D printing often uses striking geometrical patterns. These patterns are also slowly finding their way to the world of design. And we’re not only talking about furniture, but also decorating pieces.
Geometrical patterns and shapes will be very hot!

3. Copper coloured accents

Another interior trend that’s going strong: copper coloured accents. There are not only in beautiful accessories, but also in marvelous copper coloured pendant lights.

4. In touch with nature

This year will be green! House plants are trendy again and also prints and posters related by nature are coming back. The best example is the growing popularity of living poches and outdoor lounge sets.
