Peter Marino is the world’s most sought after architect of luxury fashion stores. He is the principal of Peter Marino Architect PLLC, a New York-based architecture firm founded in 1978. Widely credited with redefining modern luxury through equal emphasis on architecture and interior design, Peter Marino’s work includes award-winning residential, retail, cultural, and hospitality projects worldwide. Well known for integrating light, space with contemporary artwork within his architectural designs, Marino has commissioned more than 300 site-specific works of art.
Peter Marino is one of the world’s best interior designers due to his refined and luxurious taste for high-end modern architecture and interior design. Besides that, the creator has won several awards and has been mentioned in the world’s most relevant design magazines, including this year’s Elle Decor A-list.
Marino has completed many impressive projects with an extensive list of clients that include Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Armani, Fendi, Bulgari, Christian Dior, Zegna and Calvin Klein as well as numerous private residences owners worldwide.
In July of 2018, Marino announced his plans to open Peter Marino Arts Foundation in Southampton. He purchased and intends to restore the former Rogers Memorial Library at 11 Jobs Lane.
Marino is also a member of the board of directors of the Venetian Heritage Foundation and the International Committee of L’Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs. He holds an architecture degree from Cornell University and began his career at Skidmore Owings & Merrill, George Nelson and I.M. Pei/Cossutta & Ponte.
Peter Marino Architect has received numerous prestigious industry awards including 22 citations from the American Institute of Architects for architectural design excellence.
