From the French inspired living room to the contemporary vibe, different palette shades, cool chandeliers, wing chairs, exotic rugs, a cocooning chair – in which living room would you love to rest?
Let’s make some room for inspiration, shall we?
Modern Mix
We’ll always have Paris for luxury. Designed by its owner, the french designer and architect Florence Baudoux, this gorgeous living room went through a renovation to preserve its original volumes and character with the columns, moldings and those big windows. The feeling of a contemporary room comes in different shades of gray and black as background to her collection of art, the velvet upholstery in soft lilac to contrast, and the shiny lacquer appointments in the few pieces of furniture.
Russian Royal
Inspired by Russian decoration, this stunning living room has an incredible extensive molding (notice the architrave over the door) and classic detailing. The sea of silk gray and platinum, updates the antique look and provides more light to the room. But what really grabs one’s attention are the gold frames that are hanging those pieces of modern art. Superb.
This rarefied room belongs to the designing duo Michael Siller and Larry Hokanson, and the work is from the NYC based architect, John Ike.

Exotic Vibe
White walls and large windows are a great canvas to the mix of patterns and materials. The luxury begins with that stunning patterned black & white rug, the soft fur lying on the sofa, those beautiful and very trendy leafs of the fig tree. Then your eyes stare at that big modern frame, and we go down again searching for the beautiful details: the gold lacquer console, the orange armchair, the wooden stool. All in a glorious herringbone floor. What a fresh and millionaire place to rest.
Romantic Chic
A dreamy living room with a white and soft lilac pallet which is definitely French-inspired. The wing chairs and sofa give the formal look with gold hints. The splendid chandelier, the urns flanking the fireplace, the mirror on the mantel makes this living room a luxurious rest place. And the final touch: the ruffled white pillows. So good.
Youth Colorful
Jamie Drake, a designer much sought-after by several celebrities, has a thing for colors, specially bold colors. The trendiness attitude is not just about the different clashing colors, but also about the odd shaped furniture which is methodically placed in the room – and that magically fits. This part of the living room (of course there are more areas, we’re talking about luxury, people!) is furnished with a 13-footlong sofa and a cocooning Milo Baughman lounge chair. And greenery, look at the great leafs in the background; and the television, that thing that usually disappears in interior designer shoots, is meant to be encased in the unit. Clap clap clap.
